Isaac update
Lucky he is soooooo cute, because he's been a bit of a terror in bed not settling in the day
He is very close to crawling, pushing himself up on hands and feet all the time!
Tura holiday part 2
I took Will and Jacob down to Tura Beach for a few days as it was their turn. We fit a lot of activities into a short space of time! The boys and I had a great time!!
Merimbula beach life with the Lanes
Beach barricade
Pambula main beach in a pretty big swell
Bodyboarding Will style!
Just watching a surf life savers boat tip upside down and drift into the people they are supposed to be keeping safe!
Just relaxing on Grandads 'toilet' beach chair
Bodyboarding Jacob style
Start of the under 10's mtb race
Mandeni single track Jacob style....
.....Will style
Will came 2nd in his group of under 15's! (We wont mention there were only 2 competing, woops I just did)

Lucas's birthday party
We had Lucas's birthday party today as his actual birthday is on Wednesday. We, together with Ben, Kate, James and Patrick went to the new 'Boundless' park down by Lake Burley Griffin for a play, bbq lunch and cake (not just any cake mind you, a Lucas requested multi layered rainbow cake that Jem was still baking at 11pm last night!).
My little soon to be 5 year old star
Quick blow before the wind does!
Jems out did herself with this rainbow giant! Lucas absolutely loved it and I'm pretty sure Qantas had to move its flight path at about 11am to avoid crashing into it!

Mountain bikers.....
Are always on the look out for decent single track.
Ride the day, or under lights at night.
Ride in the mud or the dust, in the frost or the beating sun.
Will fall off, will check bike first, then get back on and start riding after that check body for holes.
Get big air, slide into turns, go fast downhill and grind it back up.
Punish bikes and limbs.
Drip sweat and blow snot out of nose.
Strava Strava Strava
Ride where possibly no one has ever ridden before.
Bike pack and cycle tour into the unknown.
Hike a bike.
Look out for river crossings, bridges, rollovers, jumps, seesaws, double jumps, banking berms....skills.
Help out fellow MTBers in need.
Always remember to ride fast - the slower you go the more likely you'll crash.
.....Finally will for some reason abide by this strange phenomena of piling rocks into towers that get added to every time they are ridden past. Dont ask why, they just do.

These impressive piles I spotted today on the Centenary Trail. There is obviously some ripped mountain bikers around here as those are more like boulders than rocks!
