I've been using Strava on my bike pretty consistently ever time I ride racking up a decent amount now. It gives you a bunch of cool information and stats on each ride you do and saves all that so you can look back on them. You can also follow other peoples riding activity that are on the Strava network, one of which who I'am following is Jason English, the current world solo 24 hour MTB champ. You can really get an insight into some of what it takes to become a Mountain biking world champ. He averages 700+ kms a week! Amazing. He is a real inspiration.
I took off early morning (4.30am!) on Sunday for a mini epic of my own. I rode to Stromlo for a loop and back home again, trying to stay off the roads and incorporating as many tracks along the way as I could. I ended up doing about 65kms all up in around 3 hours on the bike. Just a lovely lovely ride and one that I will definately be doing again. Starting your ride in the dark and riding during the sunrise on a beautiful day through beautiful scenery, nice.
Riding along the track to Stromlo and looking back towards Black Mt during sunrise.
