Black Stump hill

We remembered the ANZAC's today by taking a family hike up our favourite hill at the reserve this morning. Its called 'Black Stump hill' (as there is the remnants of an old burnt tree at the top) and its a really nice walk being about the right distance for all to enjoy also being treated with some lovely views.

We stopped at the top for morning tea of freshly baked ANZAC biccies on this ANZAC day public holiday. The boys are fascinated by the huge ant nests, love hurling rocks, climbing things, collecting walking sticks and spotting Kangaroo's (you dont have to look far!)

A lovely morning spent out on another glorious fresh Autumn morning.

Some weirdo's in front of the stump
