Remember that song

It was some time in 1999 I think when I spent a weekend with Jem down at her dads place near Cobram, Victoria. I caught the train there from Canberra, as I was living in the ACT playing for the Cannons for my first NBL season.

I remember hanging out with her in a typical new relationships smitten time where we were pretty much attached at the hip 24/7. She had a few CD's of her dads in her room and one of those was 'Time Pieces' by Eric Clapton.

The song that takes me back to that lovely time of our 'courting' (ha ha that is such an old fashion word, love it!) is Wonderful Tonight. A very appropriate song for my then girlfriend, now 10 years wife. Love you Jem.

This beautiful version includes obviously Eric Clapton as well as the incredible Mark Knopfler. In my opinion two of the all time great guitarists. Lovely, just lovely.
